Dr. Lori-Ann Edwards is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine and Assistant Program Director of the Anesthesiology Residency program at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She obtained her medical degree from the University of West Indies. She completed a general surgery internship followed by anesthesiology residency at Temple University Hospital, and her pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Her research interests are focused enhancing the quality and safety of anesthesia delivery within the pediatric population, with emphasis on neuromuscular blockade monitoring practices. Leveraging her experience in quality and performance improvement research, she is committed to designing initiatives aimed at establishing sustainable, high-quality, and cost-effective perioperative care.
