The SAFE Paediatrics Course
Run in collaboration with the Association of Anaesthetists, the SAFE Paediatrics Course is a 2-day course taking place on Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th June at the Postgraduate Medical Centre at University Hospital Plymouth NHS Trust. Over the two-days, you will learn about the basic concepts in paediatric anaesthesia, focusing on UK paediatric anaesthesia practice and common scenarios faced by anaesthetists in well-resourced environments.

Stabilisation of the Critically Ill Child
The local organising committee for the APAGBI ASM is delighted to present a pre-conference critical care training day on Wednesday 10th June. The course will be run by the Plymouth Paediatric Critical Care Group and is aimed at anyone who cares for critically ill children: anaesthetists, intensivists, ED and paediatric doctors, as well as nurses and ODPs. It will cover important aspects of care from initial presentation to hospital; through early stabilisation - with a focus on key presentations; up to and including considerations around time-critical transfer of children to a tertiary centre. This training day will be held at the Postgraduate Medical Centre at University Hospital Plymouth NHS Trust.
