I have worked as a consultant anaesthetist at Birmingham Children's Hospital since 2001 after specialty training in Glasgow and Birmingham. I have always had an interest in pain management and have been part of the acute pain team since my appointment. I have been medical lead for the acute pain service for the last 15 years.
