Dr Vimmi Oshan is a Consultant Paediatric Anaesthetist at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, with a broad range of clinical and leadership experience in paediatric anaesthesia.

She is the Founding Chair of the APAGBI Neonatal Anaesthesia Network NAN-UK and has previously served as QI Lead for APAGBI. Within her hospital, she has held several roles including Neonatal Lead, Audit Lead and ACSA Lead.

 

Her clinical interests span neonatal anaesthesia, spinal surgery, regional anaesthesia, paediatric robotic surgery, preoperative fasting and difficult airway management. She is also passionate about education and research, with authorship of peer-reviewed publications and experience as an investigator in several research studies.
