Dr Blanks is a consultant paediatric anaesthetist working in Nottingham. He has clinical interests in anaesthesia for complex spinal surgery, difficult airway management and neurosurgery. He is particularly interested in the clinical application of processed EEG monitoring, TIVA and cerebral oximetry. More widely, he is deeply passionate about sustainability within anaesthesia and healthcare provision. He is an avid ultramarathon runner, skier and a grudging Nottingham Forest fan.
